Postcodes are on the way and they’ve got a snazzy new name. The new system of unique Irish postcodes will be called Eircodes.
The Department of Communications, Energy & Natural Resources has even launched a shiny new website to introduce the project to the general public.

The new Eircodes website also has a great FAQ section that answers many of the most common questions that you might have.
Check it out. Just go to www.eircodes.ie.
