The Sesam 1 can open envelopes up to B5 in size and stack them in the same order at the other end. A Slitting method is used as opposed to cutting and this dispenses with damaged contents, trimmings and sharp edges.

Sesam 1 can handle up to 300 envelopes per minute (effectively), this will help accelerate the distribution of mail to the various departments, enabling more work to be dealt with per day.
