If you are shipping goods to the United States, new regulations regarding governing the security of container shipments to the United States will mean that shippers will need to take a closer look at how they are currently sealing their containers.
Since the events of September 11th, the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) have been working with international shipping groups, manufacturers, customs authorities and the International Standards Organisation (ISO) to come up with new legislation to tighten up on the security of containers flowing into the United States.
